You may want to contact the Great Lakes Institute for Energy Innovation at CWRU. The executive director is Dianne Anderson. There was an article in the April 6th issue of The Plain Dealer in the Metro section about them.

Hello everyone. I am looking to start an educational entity that caters to the high school aged student. I am an educator working in an "At-Risk" environment and would like to find a way to hook my students up with the "GREEN" jobs in my area, whi...
Bob,
That is perfect. I am getting on this, but what I would really like is to have people residing in each city to be the ones to contact their council person who will ultimately bring it to the attention of the entire council. Would you be will ...
I just received word from one of the city council members in Willoughhby that council has taken my push to view the plan to heart. they have, as a group "looked at" the plan and are now in the process of working out details that would allow for a ...
Don't despair. There are god people everywhere. Boone was on the View today and we got so many new members we could not welcome them fast enough. PEOPLE GET IT. When we build our numbers big enough and we can push past the tipping point the followers will get in line. Need to keep building though! Critical to give the numbers to Boone and Harry Reid to get this done!
BESt always!

How are you Jonathan? I am looking for you to be the new poster child for the 100CLUB. How goes it? Give me a shout if you would.
Best
Kim
I look forward to where we go from here.... but we need to get over this "bridge" first. I think it will probably be in battery form, should be interesting. Check in with Mike Johnston - he's has a good finger on the pulse!

Hey Jonathan
22 plus 30 in other districts gives you 52. Fantastic work - they all count! I look forward to hearing that you are 100! If you get just 5 per day you could be done in 10 days. You will make a superb poster boy for the 100CLUB!
Very exciting the progress we are maing. Key to it all is building our numbers and continuing to change the paradigm of thought on energy in this country one person at a time. Our numbers are giving Boone avery big hammer and a seat at the table. He could have gotten one on his ow, but how great to be able to say he has almost 1.5 million supporters in just 7 months! If everyone added just 10 family and friends we could be at 17 million tommorrow. Any ideas on how to motivate folks... I am doing my damndest!
I have gathered 650 since August. It is just 2 per day.
Thanks, kindly, for the update! Your success will inpsire and motivate others!

Hello Jonatan,
I agree the Pickens Plan is an incredibly ambitous plan and it also presents a terriific challenge. I'm currently focused on my key congresional contacts that have specific responsibilities for accessing the Pickens plan resources so that i can sharfe this information with my team. I'm also going to explore the many community groups including the boards of education and the technical training institutes in the area for new members an technical expertise.
Johnathan,
I am working with the NE Portage dems, and they are looking for an idea to support change, and the President. Would you be able to come to thier meeting and talk of the Pickens Plan?
In response to your question on ICEgroup. You must first contact City Hall about zoning. Than your electric provider about net metering (buying from youany excess energy) If the turbine is more than 30 feet (this no# mayy be different in your city) you need permits. To make this easier go to our group. there is a link called small wind tool box. It is all bocken down there for big and small turbines.
As the District Leader from Congressman Tim Ryan's 17th District, I wanted to open communications with you and your group. Since your District includes Northern Trumbull County, I wanted to invite you and any members of your group to the Green Energy Ohio (GEO) meetings at KSU Trumbull Campus on Ohio Route 45 North of Warren. The next GEO meeting is Tuesday, January 27 at 7:00pm. Chris Verich from the Ohio Consumers Council will give a presentation on the "Status of Renewable Energy in Ohio."
Since both of our Congressmen are on the House Apprpriations Committee, we may in in for some exciting times with the "Stimulus Package" bill.
Also, Arnie Clebone from the Ohio Department of Development told me that he is interested in promoting a wind turbine project on Lake Erie.
There is much to discuss and do. Please visit the OH-17 Group webpage to see some of the developments on your southern border.
