Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I am an air force vet who has a technicle working knowledge of mechanical engineering and am working as a network engineer for Cisco. I have been working "freelance" on a perpetual motion turbine engine that runs on solar, and A/C and uses 40% less power than it creates.
What excites you about this campaign?
I'm looking for an outlet, nothing less and a lot more. I am a self-started and am tired of asking friends if they want to get involved in making some green in going green. From my travels to Asia in the service, I can attest that I love this nation and hate the way our society is developing by way of creating a generation and future of lazy American's who would rather sit around and veg out instead of using their gray matter to change this planet for our future generations.
What do you want to do to help?
Anything and everything, spread the word, organize, lead, you name it. It put it as cheesy as I can, I have read up on T Boone Pickens, and am behind this ideal 110%. If you need someone for IT work, management, or just someone who is excited to join to make a difference in the planet, I'm your man!

Jonathan,
TRANSPORTATION is the master key to basic survival, and the cornerstone of the economy. We all know that transportation presently depends on oil production, and oil production is peaking. We must focus first on transportation – it is the highest priority. The PickensPlan to transition vehicles to natural gas is a great start toward 100% energy independence, but is a stop-gap measure till we can transition to all electric transportation. Electric energy is strained without adding transportation demands; so we must focus on drastic efficiency improvement.
Evacuated Tube Transport (ETT) is a patented technology where travel occurs without air friction or rolling resistance (like “Space Travel on Earth”); ETT can accomplish 50 times more transportation per kWh (or carbon credit) than electric cars or trains. ETT is silent, low cost, safe, faster than jets, less expensive than freeways, and is electric so it can make maximum use of wind or PV power. With your engineering and science experience I thought you might want to learn more about ETT

Greetings

Mrs. Grey and I are happy that you have joined this group and we hope that your involvement with this effort will be rewarding for you and your children. We have prepared a letter that encompasses the Pickens Plan so you can send it to your congressional delegation. It is easy to send you just click on the web site to your congressional delegation. You can easily find it by Goggling it.

Mrs. Grey and I had fun developing this plan and we shared this plan with Pickens' people and they sent a "Great Idea!” I just want to share with you our opportunity to make a difference. A copy of the letter is at the top of this comment

Best Wishes
Clyde Childers
