Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?

Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize

Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

My retirement job, ( I am a former teacher and school administrator) as a "ski bum" for Vail Resorts company in Beaver Creek, Colorado has aquainted me with alternative wind energy power. Vail Resorts is the 2nd
largest user of wind power after Whole Foods. The company is extremely proud that all of our 5 ski areas participate in wind energy programs. My home in New Jersey is on the shore and I wistfully hope that our ocean someday will be part of wind farm technology. I have come to look at the turbines as beautiful birds which will allow our country to become energy independent.

What excites you about this campaign?

The fact that there IS a plan with alternatives as well as more immediate solutions.

What do you want to do to help?

maybe a more subtle one, like "slow down, save gas"

I'm not kidding, its a good idea... the only reason I'd hesitate to put it on my car is that every once in a while I'm running late and get the lead foot going... It would be an embarrassment to be pulled over for a speeding ticket with that bumper sticker on my car :)
