Hi Julie
what type of services are you considering as a teaching farm. I met a guy a few weeks back that is doing great things in the Joliet area with an old farm.

Hello Julie. Jessee McBroom here. You may want to look into Jatorpka. It is a plant; tree actually of a palm variety that yields a fruit that may be pressed for bio fuel that requires no further processing to be used as a bio fuel. I have a friend down in Texas that is quite knowldgable in this . He plans to set up a bio fuel plantation down there. Maybe you can help each other on the funding and education on your projects. He requires some funding; I would be glad to introduce you if you think you can help him secure a grant for his project. Sincerely: Jessee McBroom

Julie: Forget about ethanol or biodiesel. We need your crop producing acreage for food. Global warming is reducing the farm acreage in the U.S. and around the world. You might also consider having court-ordered deliquents sent to your farm for training as farm labor. Sort of a "boys town" This would be a humanitarian gesture.
What you can do is collect all the burnable stubble, cobs, etc from corn and other crops and burn it in a process to produce electricity for your farm. Divert all the exhaust gas from the combustion chamber and use the carbon dioxide for generating algae for food for your cattle or sell it to Japan at a premium price. I know because others have done it 20 years ago.
