Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
No "experience" per say, but an outspoken advocate for alternative energy sources for 20+ years because of my interest in the environment.
What excites you about this campaign?
It appears to be quite viable, buys some time while transitioning from combustion engines to lithium battery electric vehicles &/or hydrogen powered vehicles.
What do you want to do to help?
I don't know specifically; what sort of tasks need to be addressed?

Hi there,
I am a new member and live in Santa Rosa, Ca. I looked at the first 15 member pages and am dropping a note to all the members in Santa Rosa, to see if there is any interest in all of us, getting together somewhere just to get acquainted and make it easier to start a group. One by one will work very well, as a start. I am a senior and work Sat. and Sun, but can do a week day anytime convenient. Just let me know if this is of interest to you. Regards, judith anaja
I've been signing petitions that push for alternative energy for the last decade!!! However, I do appreciate the new lead/contact, and will add them to my list...
Thank You,
K. :)
We can become politically active. It does make a difference if you write your congressman on issues related to alt energy that come up for votes. This group http://www.solar-nation.org/ keeps me informed of when a bill is up for vote. You'll get an email from solarnation and then you send an email off to your congressman. We should all join and make them aware of our desire to get onto alt energy.
Currently we're in northern Calif. (plenty of sun), but we'll be relocating up to Washington in the near future where, hopefully, we might find wind to be of value...
That isn't an unusual situation, but it is something that you can address now and your husband will be thrilled when he sees the change. I saw that I could get an 8-9 year return, which barely got me to spring for the upfront cost. Now, I realize that due to behavioral changes, it is going to payback in more like 3 years. I don't know where you guys live, but if there is sun, why not do it now?
Hello Patrick, I'm located over in Sonoma Co., in California, and there are more local groups in this vicinity, however thank you for the invitation...
