- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I grew up going to my grandparent's ranch in Wyoming. He was one of the first ranchers in the area to use a wind generator to create electricity to run the house and other buildings. Currently we're trying to install solar panels on our exclusively electric house. We're hoping we can get the state rebate, but that money seems to go too fast and only to a few special projects. Very frustrating. I'm also looking to put up wind turbines on that ranch in Wyoming...we have a 230KV power line going through the property.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- That we have someone like Mr. Pickens behind it. I've long believed the US has to move toward using renewable resources like wind and solar power.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I'm not sure. Can certainly communicate via the computer.
