Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
My experience with alternative energy is probably a lot like everyone else's... I want change, I know that we need change, but I'm not entirely sure that I want the government or big business to decide what's best for me.

What I'd like to see the government do is assist "early adopters" (financially) that wish to generate their own clean energy. Most states (if not all) have already established interconnections standards as well as net metering rules, which allows individuals to sell what they generate and don't use to the local utility company. They receive payment for this in the form of credit on their bill.

WHAT A GREAT START! NOW LET'S MAKE IT EASIER FOR INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE THEIR OWN CLEAN POWER!

Every American with a roof-top should be generating electricity.
What excites you about this campaign?
I'm very excited to see someone stepping forward in a big way. I truly believe that if we, as a nation, don't achieve energy independence that we risk our personal independence when the world supply of oil runs out. The Pickens Plan is a well thought-out bridge from foreign oil dependence and I support it.
What do you want to do to help?
I've decided to become a renewable energy and energy efficiency evangelist ;)

Somebody PLEASE Build One of These!

The thought of one of these along the road side brings back memories of my childhood in TX when everywhere you looked was an oil pump bobbing up and down. Ahhhh, the good old days of plentiful oil :))

Do You Have the Will to Change?

Here's another way to get the 20 percent

They've been trying to get us to change for 15 years! It's time we do. Much of this valuable work can be applied to existing homes and other structures too. Not just new construction.

Residential Solar Loves Me!

Our Government is Practically Begging Us to Install Solar

34 states already have net-metering laws that require the public utility to buy your unused electricity. There's a tax credit available from the IRS for 33% of the system cost for PV systems put into service in 2009. In Maryland the state will write you a check up to $10,000 for installing PV. Let's not forget that we can get paid for renewable energy credits too (RECs).

Maryland Example:

1. Spend $30,000 on a grid-conn… Continue

Hi Carl, I saw your posting somewhere saying that you have access to money for green projects. I have a project that when fully implemented could prevent emission of 184 million tons of GHG each year in the USA alone. Private message for further discussion.

If you are serious about investing in green power then we should talk. I am looking for money to start up a wind farm in Missouri. I have a great location that pencils out a good profit but am short on the funds to develope it as all my money is tied up in the land. Contact me at kindacowboy3139@hotmail.com
