Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I have no experience with alternative energy, I just know that we as a nation need to lean towards alternative sources to support ourselves and the next generation. Once a nation that everyone look towards for how to manage, has lost that and we are heading in the wrong direction. Lets put ourselves back in the front!!
What excites you about this campaign?
Knowing that we can make a difference and show that we have the knowledge and energy to make a change. Lets work together as a nation to show the world we are on top of problems and have the determination to make this work for the future of our nation.
What do you want to do to help?
Being a disabled veteran I am not sure what I can do to support this change. But I am willing to do whatever I can to push this plan to the fore front so everyone takes the action needed to make this plan work. We have to promote this to support our future generations and keep a balance within our country. Everyone needs to pay attention to how we can support this plan.

Kay,

Your enthusiasm is just what we need in a District Leader. Would you consider it?

Please contact me and I can give you more details.

Hi Kay!

I just dropped by to see how it's going for you? Any questions yet? Not that I'm Mr. Answer or anthing of the sort but if you do have any questions I will do what I can to help you get them answered.

Just so you know Kay, my time on this site is limited. I usually dont't log in until around 8:00 pm or so and, if I can, I'll hang in here till midnight.

May we always desire to play a better game and create a better tomorrow (for everyone!).

Thank you for joining Picken's Plan!
Here's how you can help.

PLEASE email the Pickens Plan video to everyone you know. www.pickensplan.com. Ask them to join. Ask them to pass it along. Time is of the essence. If every member had 10 friends join today, we could put the number of members over 1 million very quickly!

If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.

So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.

Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference. We need your help.

If you know someone in the press- get them to cover this.
If you know someone who blogs- get them to cover this.
If you can write to a Congressman/woman- get them to understand this.
If you know someone who is in the public eye- ask them to support this.
If you can put a downloadable flyer in your business or car window, please do.

Let me know how it goes. It really all boils down to how many folks we can get to JOIN this effort. Please friend me if you like.
Thanks,
Geri

Welcome Kay!

Thank you for joining with us. You are appreciated.

Kay, you can expect to receive more than a few welcomes from various members within the next 48 hours. Thankfully, each welcome will be different from the others. Of course, these welcomes, as is mine, are cookie-cutter type welcomes. They have to be. Because of the daily volume of new members joining the Pickens Plan campaign/army there is no other way, at present, to say hello to so many people so quickly and let you all know that we very much appreciate that you have joined with us.

The way I have approached composing my welcome to you is to think back to the time when I joined (the 11th of August member # 109,109) and ask myself. "What information could someone have given me that would of been of immediate service and value?" And the answers I came up with are what I am passing on to you. This is my welcome.

Note: If you are a veteran at social networking online then much of what I have to say can be skipped (except for #1). If you are not, then it may be worth your while to read the whole message. Also, keep in mind that these points I have listed are only suggestions.

1. If you have expectations of what you will find here and how things will operate then I encourage you to immediately rip those preconceived expectations off of your clipboard. Put a blank page on and start completely fresh.

2. Do not get into a hurry. There's lots to learn and get acquainted with. It takes a while to "groove" yourself into this.

2. Take some time to thoroughly familiarize yourself with everything that is on your page. Click on everything that you can click on and see what it does. Make notes about the things that you don't understand or don't know how to use.

3. Anything that you don't understand or are uncertain about how to use, don't hesitate to ask anyone who has welcomed you. If we don't know the answer we have all, by this time, built up networks of friends and someone in one of those networks will have the answer(s) you need. And if you happen to think that your question is too dumb or too silly to bother anyone about....well, forget that. There is absolutely NO question that you could ask that would ever be considered either too dumb or too silly.

4. Take some time and check out each of the featured members. On your page they are on the right side. Just click the photo and you will be taken to their page. Once on their page read their profiles, their blogs, their comments, look at their videos, look at their photos, look to see what groups they belong too. Basically, spend some time and look over everything! I guarantee you it will be a big help.

5. After checking out all of the featured members go up to the different tabs at the top of your page and take up one after another and see what happens.

6. When you come to Groups and click on that tab and find yourself on the group page there will be four groups at the top of the page. I suggest that you first check out Guides and Materials for New Members by the Communication Support Group. The members of this group have worked very hard to assemble and provide an extensive resource for the members.

7. There is a search function on the group page. Type in your state and click search. See what group or groups have been started in your state.

Well...that's what I have to offer you. I hope it helps. If you have any questions about anything. DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK.

Now you had better buckle up because you are in for one wild ride.

Good Luck,

Monte

p.s. I will be back in a few days to see how you're doing.
