- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I have been learning about alternative energy since the 70s when I volunteered at the Science Museum. I'm not an expert, but I am positive we can solve all our energy problems with clean alternatives, and Savannah is perfect for solar. I would also like to see more people promoting passive solar building techniques. I would love to live completely off-grid. :)
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Since I don't know much about it yet, I can't say, but I am excited about the prospect of working on it. I am so HAPPY we have a president now who is open to this, and it gives me a lot of hope for the future. There are still a LOT of stubborn people out there who don't believe in any of this, and we reeeeally need to change their minds.
- What do you want to do to help?
- ummmm, I dunno. What do you need help with?
I would love, love, love for my home to be a model house for the area, if this is being done here. I could never afford to solarize it myself.
