Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I have read "The Long Emergency" which mentions that we are about to experience a difficult time both overseas and at home. Climate change has contribute in massive climate disasters from fires in California to massive hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico. We are supplying money to our enemies. Radicals in Saudi Arabia and populists in Venezuela.
Other nations are ahead of us. Brazil is a nation that embraced ethanol and other alternative energy. Germany has invested in solar power. Iceland is a nation that is run by geothermal power.

What excites you about this campaign?

That we can gather the people together to realize the truth. The truth that the next future President of the United States has a duty to eliminate our dependence on other nations. Both economically from China as energetically from Saudi Arabia.
Senator McCain proposed nuclear plants. This plants will take ten years to fully operate and it will not stop other nations, like Iran to pursue the same objective. We must become a nation of leaders once more.

What do you want to do to help?

I want to give my time to organize the community. I want to work in designing informative media, like through NPR, Public Libraries, and other medias. We need to make our message clear to the newly elected officials. I am willing to contribute in materials, and seek recruitment from universities in San Antonio in search for potential in creativity and initiative.

I just want to congratulate everybody for their hard work. It is understandable that everybody has their responsibilities, college, work or all of the above. The power of the people

I believe in a bipartisan solution to our problem of dependency on foreign nations. I joined this cause, because I do believe that we can unite towards one goal and convinced the next President of the United States to take this issue seriously.
We need to know is the truth. Senator McCain supports off-shore drilling and the building of nuclear plants. Off-shore drilling will not stop our addiction but make it worse. It will take 10 years for this plan to fully operate.

I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

The intent of this site was to stay out of the political side game.
We have heard both hopefuls touch on the energy issue but neither has really committed 100%.
I hate to say this but you will find as you scan through the gazillion discussions the political quagmire has filtered in.
One can understand how our gov got so out of control.
Just keep in mind As Sara Lee tells us (you cannot please all the people all the time).
