Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I have no direct experience with alternative energy. However, I do have a very strong line of common sense and logic that says we are long over due in developing, processing and distributing all types of alternative energy at affordable prices, thereby ridding our nation of the stronghold that foreign oil has had for generations.
What excites you about this campaign?
It is a campaign that is composed of the "new" will of the people of this country, to get the things done that generations of lobbyists and politicians alike have purposely disregarded. It excites me to be a part of a true grass roots movement that is focused on the best interests of this great nation, and not the interests of personal or political gains.
What do you want to do to help?
I am a husband, father and a small business man. Whatever I can do to make this whole thing work is my objective. I am a team player, motivator and equipper. Whatever I can do, I will give it my best.

C O N S E R V A T I O N :
Free Alternative Energy Available Now !

America Continues to Waste over 70% of the Energy it Consumes.
100's of millions of lights unnecessarily burn during the day and night, over heating and over cooling is the norm, over packaging, inadequate recycling, toxic landfills, horrendous road congestion, and our perverted obsession with road construction. Public and Private buildings, Schools, Churches, Homes, ... America's blatant energy waste and overuse is culturally pervasive, and abominable !

1- ONLY with a substantial and tangible economic reward/consequence will most Americans care to conserve.
Crude oil must be taxed at $200 per barrel and offset by making income tax begin at $60k.
Taxing energy is simple, fair, economically sound, and available TODAY.
2- The American auto industry must quickly transition to the 6.4 BILLION people reason$ to manufacture solar, wind, and other alternative energy producers. They already have the needed infrastructure. Every home and building in the world, could be using solar energy. We are fast running out of fossil fuels !

Humanity is racing toward extinction, via global warming, for our failure to stop our energy waste.
Taxing energy (in lieu of income taxes) is the ONLY incentive that will stop energy waste and cause renewable energy sources to be employed.

Kermit,
There not many Kermits around. So, I am curious, are you the Kermit that writes for MMA? If so could WE organize a ride of awareness? Contact me at ace5607@gmail.com. I will get in touch with the locals in Payson/Pine area to move this forward.
PS where the heck is Dewey?

Hi Kermit:
I look forward to working with you in the AZ district 1 area. Like you, I'm excited about this grassroots effort and have been frustrated with the lack of any action on the part of many of our political leaders up to now.

Take care,
Lee B

Kermit,

I have been receiving email notices from the Pickens organization for some time. Today I formally "joined" this organization. It is unclear to me if I have also been linked to the District Group AZ-01 of which I understand you are the leader. Please add me, if I have not been automatically added.

I am unsure how communications will take place but if you need my email address, here it is: jim@jamesgibson.us My home is in Sedona and I think this area is prime territory for this movement/organization.

Thanks,

Jim Gibson

Hi Kermit!

Thanks fro bringing Shawn to the party, nice job.... GOT MORE?

Welcome to PP.

There are only 15 days until Congress is sworn in- can you gather petition support? Time is of the essence.

Here is the petition:
http://media.pickensplan.com/downloads/PP/pollingsignupsheet.pdf

NO INFLUENCE WITHOUT NUMBERS

I have been able to gather hundreds with a simple sentence -
"I am collecting signatures of support for T. Boone PIckens plan to get us off of foreign oil and onto American solutions" then put the petition in front of them. EVERYONE wants to get off foreign oil, we just need to add them to our list!

Please stop by and let me know how it goes. WE CAN DO THIS!
Let me know if I can help in any way.

Best,
Kim

Welcome!
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.
On the home page, click on About The Plan ~ Boone Cam ~ Blog
Our future is focus 1- at this point in time! If not now, When? If not you, WHO?
~~~~~~to quote, Earl Scharff, from RI,~~~~~~~
~~~~~"FOR INFLUENCE, YOU NEED NUMBERS!"~~~~~

Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.
[Click here], to enter your zip code and be paired up with members in your area. If you want to be a leader for your area, you can also sign up on that page. If you would rather wait on a leader role, that’s ok we need helpers. An organization cannot be all chiefs.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

This is an easy first task I ask of you-
~~~~~~~PLEASE TAKE A PETITION TO WORK TODAY!~~~~~~
I am asking everyone to please take petitions to school or work or wherever you are going today! Everyone wants to get off of foreign oil; we just need to gather their names. WE CAN DO THIS, with everyone’s help. [Click here] for the Petition, then copy or print 4 or 5 and ask everyone to help, better everyone's future.
Again, Welcome; Tom- Welcome wagon crew!
Hi Kermit,
Welcome and THANK YOU for joining the Pickens Plan. I just wanted to let you know that a real person out here appreciates you taking that first step.
After you've had a chance to settle in, please let me know if there's anything I can do to guide your path. The basic first steps are reviewing the current topics in the Forum, and when you are comfortable, letting others know about the website. The people here are interested in making the plan a success and those you invite should be able to see for themselves that this is the right place to be.
Here are further steps you might consider.
- Sign up to lead or help on the District page.
- Visit the My Energy page and get involved.
- Work your contacts to increase press coverage.
- Write to congressional representatives directly.
- Use Pickens Action buttons or call (202)225-3121.
- Speak out for ending our dependence on foreign oil.
- Write letters to the editor of your local paper.
- Download flyers/etc from here or here.
- Download the Petition and ask others to sign it.
- Start a company to build wind turbines/solar panels.
- Start a financing firm to invest in those companies.
- Tell everyone you know about PickensPlan.com.
Decide for yourself what you can do, but definitely do something.
Welcome once again, Happy Holidays and thanks for signing up.
Clynton
