- Just learning. My company recently purchased hybrid vehices as company cars and I wasamazed at their efficiency. That intrigued me to learn more.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I am a veteran and I have seen first hand the strangle hold that foreign oil has on the US and world economy. I feel with a strong emphasis toward natural resources this country can once again become self sufficient.
I also believe the massive profits being posted by oil companies should be levied to provide funds for this very resource. I agree with Mr. Pickens thesis and believe that if we are diligent in the efforts to break away from oil we can ease the dependence on foreign oil by as much as 50% within 10 years. The reduction by 38% by increasing natural production by 22% would seem to be more drastic as the theory catches on.
Reducing Green house emmisions and lowering Global warming would be a natural plus.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I would be willing to invest time, money, and good ole' hard work into seeing my childrens future cleaner, brighter, and economically sound.

I have been trying to get Kentuckians to start asking for the things small business owners will need to get started developing renewables, I posted some things on the Kentuckians for Picken's plan group.
