- We'll as I went to turn off the T.V. (it kills brain cells) I saw this man on the screen. And became excited about something I knew nothing about. I made my husband go to Borders and get the book.that day. I know natural gas is better than oil. And it has something to do with the weather. And I'm suppossive crazy to want to invest my money in the stock right. Actually I'm not allowed to. Because I don't know what I'm doing. And that's about it. But I requested info. from fidelity. So I'll know all about it.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I am excited because Boone is so passionate about it. He is great at bringing people together. I get excited about causes. I'm still pumped from the book. The main reason thats the guy that gave all that money to OSU. My daughter has planned on being a vet.since she was 4 . She's 14 and were excited about supporting the man that is suporting our school. My husband is an OSU grad. as well as his dad. He and Boone are 1 year apart. So this man has inspired us to take a risk. Which is kind of my way too. We will go tommarrow. I have no idea what I will say. But I'm sure I come up with something. Were going at 1:00PM

This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.

EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES BY USING OUR EASY RED "CONTACT CONGRESS" BUTTON -This is urgent, because the Energy Bill in Congress is in danger of not passing! With little effort, we have the ability here for you to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too. Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS" . Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
YOU CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who are trying to derail this historic effort.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONSWe need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.

Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
