Hi Krissy, my name is Paul and I'm interested in gathering Kansas city folks and uniting them to promote compressed Natural gas for NGV's cars and trucks. And to bring together KC locals into a meetup group website as well. We cant wait for State or Federal government to act in our best interest. Local people and their interests MUST rise above the apathy in America today. We have a GM plant in kansas city, it's time we put them to the test for the betterment of Kansas and Missouri citizen's. please join me in uniting all of kansas city in this effort.
thank you

Hi Krissy,

I've created a Pickens Plan group called "Musicians for a Better Future". Our goal is to increase grass roots support for and raise the visibilty of alternative energy solutions through a saeries of simultaneous local events.

As an organizer and public speaker I think you could help us. Musicians are only a small fraction of the support this event will require. We need sponsors with a vested interest in alternative energy. Kansas has a vested interested in the development of Wind Power, so if you have identified potential developers in your area, we would like to ask them for help.

It would be great to have an event in Kansas City. If you think this effort is worthy of your time, I would ask you to contact or provide contact information for sponsors from Kansas City to help out. Of course, any ideas or comments you could provide would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time,

Rev. Jake

Krissy,
Evacuated Tube Transport (ETT) is a patented technology where travel occurs without air friction or rolling resistance (like “Space Travel on Earth”); ETT can accomplish 50 times more transportation per kWh (or carbon credit) than electric cars or trains. ETT is silent, low cost, safe, faster than jets, and is electric so it can make maximum use of wind or PV power. I invite you to visit my page to learn more about ETT

There is a farmer just north of KC in Cameron, MO. who just leased a utility company the rights to hundreds of acres of his land to be used for wind generators. And there are hundreds of wind generators just outside 29 Palms, CA. The potential is unlimited!

No
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I have seen the wind farms in Kansas and I think they are amazing, and if I only had the millions it would take to build a wind farm, I would do it.

I also want to be clear that I am an Obama supporter. Tonight I got the feeling that a lot of "Picken's Plan" people might be conservative McCain people... if I read that wrong, I am sorry. However, I am a LIBERAL and very much in agrement with many of Obama's plans. Maybe I should have steered away from a Texas born campaign, but I was hoping to have found some intelligence in that state, which I know it holds somewhere.
What excites you about this campaign?
A cleaner environment and less foreign dependency, which is a CLEAR Democratic stance (despite what Palin tried to make you think... but hey, at least she tried!)
What do you want to do to help?
I have worked on the Obama campaign and I know I have done as much as I can at this point. If there are any ideas on how to do more, please let me know; I am all ears.
