- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- My knowledge of alternative energy is very tip of the iceberg compared to the vast knowledge contained within this webspace but I am always willing to learn more and I think you would be surprised how many people are starting to open their eyes to the idea of change. It can be a beautiful thing. In use I have only seen it done with hybrids, solar panels used to power public transportation. Once at a music festival I powered some amps while riding a bicycle which was really cool. Most music festivals have a HUGE green section which would be a great place to get information heard by the people that will be the future of the world. And things simple as that can effect a person's mind forever and for the better. Also when I lived on a sailboat we had a wind generator to power the basics of living.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The possibility of giving something back to a world that has given us infinite possibilities just seems like the right thing to do. I don't know that much about wind energy or solar power but I do know that Wind energy is already being harnessed by a small variety of people and working wonderfully. We need to alleviate our dependence on foreign oil and the Chinese economy as soon as possible. We need new ways to power our lives and this campaign has been actively working to do just this for a long time. Let's be heard!
- What do you want to do to help?
- If there is anything I can do to help by all means send me an email and I'll respond as soon as possible. I am pretty good with Graphic design, web development, protesting (lol), spreading the word via internet and word of mouth. Events coordination for publicity. Printing flyers. Making flyers. Maybe if we hosted a charity event to raise more money we could get the word out easier.
