Renew Michigan Industry

Dear Friends,

We are holding a demonstration on the steps of our State Capitol to let Michigan lawmakers know that we want to bring renewable energy companies to Michigan. This is the largest growing industry in the world as global energy demand rises. Michigan has the tools to be the leader in renewable energy and to help rebuild our economy with high paying green collar jobs. Michigan helped to drive the world, Michigan can help to power the world.

First, I would like to congratulate you on your objective, and best wishes for its success.

I would also like to caution you on the specifics of the math at this point in the social environments. I think we would all prefer to get a fair (closer to retail) price for the electrical energy we generate, but it doesn't look like that will happen any time soon.

So, for a small farm, (in cooler locations like Michigan) I would suggest looking into combination systems, using any available resources at your disposal for their -individual- best efficiency levels.

Examples:

1/ check the cost of large wind towers, compared to -many- smaller ones (that can be erected and serviced by yourself, or local technician levels). -see my page as well-
2/ Have an engineer look into the potential of combining a wind tower (of some sort) with a Sterling heat engine (google Sterling Energy Systems) to use the same structural investment to generate heat for buildings, and -increased- electrical generation from water cooling added on the cold side of the sterling motor (not thought of in current designs for arid areas).
3/ Use collected heat for mash/silage/ethanol preheat to reduce cost of the conversion.
4/ Use warmed animal waste (from similar system) to heat methanol for the corn mash conversion burn.
5/ Use your own ethanol/bio-diesel in your machinery to reduce overhead.
6/ heat your home (and then potentially out buildings) with low level heat from the sterling collection, to reduce the cost of steroids and medical application on farm stock.
7/ Etc., just try to use the energy collected two - three - four times, if the machinery required doesn't get too expensive.

Luck, not an easy road...

Happy New Year Larry

I just wanted you to check out what 21st Century Fuels is doing to stem the tide of foreign oil. We market two split fuel systems that combine propane or CNG with gasoline or diesel fuel. The benefits are an increase in Miles Per Gallon, Horsepower and a decease in Emissions by 50%, decreasing greenhouse gases. I am going to attach some information. If you have any questions or would like to put one on your vehicle you can contact me at alternativefuelsolution@yahoo.com Please pass this on to others.

Hi Larry, I'm the state Internal Communication Director for the Michigan FairTax Assn which works "hand in glove" with goals of the Pickens Plan because by REPLACING the Michigan income tax, families and businesses will have additional disposable monthly income to make energy improvements to their homes and businesses.

For The Facts- End income tax returns, audits, interest, penalties and 1/2 the lobbyists in LansingHow will passage of a MI FairTax do this? It will REPLACE the income tax and current sales tax, with a consumption tax (sales tax at point of retail sale). This means that no more state tax will be withheld from Michigan wage-earners' paychecks. What's more, every Michigan resident-family will receive a monthly "prebate" check, in amount based on family size. This will ensure that NO Michigan family will EVEN BEGIN paying the MI FairTax on goods / services unless, or until, they exceed poverty-level spending. The MI FairTax rate is 0% on all monthly spending to the poverty level; thereafter it's 9.75%. The average effective rate will be around 5.5% (see p.2 of pdf brochure). Please join our email list to learn how you can help advance the Michigan FairTax and facilitate Pickens Plan goals!

Merry Christmas Larry,
This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. Send me a friend request a to add me Larry, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.

BTW, Michigan: I just posted an article on my page about Home Wind Systems in Michigan. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.

Hi Larry.
I'm wondering how that event in Lansing turned out. I had a little mis-communication with Scott & ended up not learning about it until it was too late for me to get down to the capitol. I live in West Branch. Where is Ceresco?
