Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I dont have much experience, but I try to conserve whenever possible. I would be willing to make many changes in my life style to become energy dependent from outside countries.

What excites you about this campaign?

I think its about time somone did somthing about how we spend all this money on oil with other countries and then those countries are coming into the US and basically buying our country with the money that we have paid them for thier oil. Our way of life is not going to be the same if this continues. Our corporations through greed are out-sourcing everything and weakening our nation and way of life. The nations that can feed, house and become energy self sufficient are the countries that are going to survive.

What do you want to do to help?

Anything, feel free to contact me about what i can do to help. I am very excited about Mr. Pickens plan and i just hope that we can see some immediate action and less talk.

TRANSPORTATION is the master key to basic survival, and the cornerstone of the economy. We all know that transportation presently depends on oil production, and oil production is peaking. We must focus first on transportation – it is the highest priority. The PickensPlan to transition vehicles to natural gas is a great start toward 100% energy independence, but is a stop-gap measure till we can transition to all electric transportation. Electric energy is strained without adding transportation demands; so we must focus on drastic efficiency improvement.
Evacuated Tube Transport (ETT) is a patented technology where travel occurs without air friction or rolling resistance (like “Space Travel on Earth”); ETT can accomplish 50 times more transportation per kWh (or carbon credit) than electric cars or trains. My thoughts are I am in the same mode of President Kennedy who gave this nation the vision that anything and everything is possible. I am an American, and I refuse to have anybody tell me that I have to accept a poison producing energy process. It is time the world recognizes that and moves on, and Mr. Pickens has at least begun that process. I am grateful for anybody who can think outside the box and work to bring about the necessary changes to help ensure a safe world for tomorrow.
