- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- Solar panels really helped in reducing power bills in San Jose, CA but am unsure they would help in Portland, OR. It is rainy and cloudy many days of the year in Portland, OR
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I think finding alternative energy would help us become less dependent or independent of the oil in the Middle East. If we could break away from them, think of the options we would have that we don't have now!
- What do you want to do to help?
- I am pretty much limited to email-advocating and writing a few letters. I care for a disabled husband and I am disabled (but not disabled enough to type 74 wpm) myself. Our income is limited and so is my time.My husband required a great deal of care.
