Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I have just filed a provisional patent for a revolutionary way of disposing of nuclear waste free of all of the problems associated with (dated) Yucca Mountain technology.
I have also worked in the semiconductor and communications fields as an engineer. At Comsat Labs in the early 1970's I was in the physics dept working on improvements to Si solar cells.

What excites you about this campaign?

I am a fan of Honda Motor Co, and have been driving their fuel efficient vehicles since 1973. They also have a vision similiar to yours for natural gas, and a good idea about how to solve the infrastructure problems. As an engineer I get excited about solving problems "the right way".

What do you want to do to help?

Open for discussion! However, I do live in a wind corridor also. About 30 miles west of the wind plant to be built in Willard, NW.
I also feel nuclear power will be a big part of our energy independence. Inventions like mine and some of the existing prior art should be review to 1950's mandated and public opposed technology.

If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.

So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done.

Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. One person can make a difference.

I have put a sign in my car window that reads...
" 700 BILLION IN FOREIGN OIL ANNUALLY. STOP THE LARGEST TRANSFER OF WEALTH IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND.....TO OUR ENEMIES. JOIN www.pickensplan.com."

I also have small business card size notes with the same message that I can hand to friends.
