- The approach and scope and it's leader. I really am about things getting done versus just a good cause. It seems to me this has all the necessary components for success.

One thought, my husband and I reached out to over 1,800 personal and professional contacts with a lovely letter when we first saw this iover the summer. We got a very small respnse and even less folks signing on.
We now have a way that We can control who does sign up. We wrote a nice email asking to reply back if they supportes it, and we signed them up manually. We got dozens and dozens. It think, over 80 in the first 2 days. People mean well, they are busy. We need to make it easy for them to say, YES, I support this effort.

We are bigger than the Sierra Club.... we ned to get to many more millions if we are to make sure our poloiticains understand there is no where, no pocket deep enough, to hide! Sheer numbers is the only thing that will acomplish that kind of a paradimg shift. Sad, but true. so let's beat them at the game. WE CAN DO THIS.

Unfortunately, I work for US Airways, not the brightest future; company or industry-wise. Airlines burn through petrol like crazy. I primarily fly to Europe; it's unbelievable how much fuel gets burned up over the Atlantic. I remain in a constant job search mode as one day the axe will fall and the airlines will all be much smaller. Your Speaking career sounds very interesting - so does working in the new energy industry. I want to help with saving this economy, the environment, and ultimately, myself! Considering attending the convention in DC tomorrow, it's a bit pricey. Thanks for your comments. - Mike S.
I had been meaning get more involved for a while. I travel as well for work, so local events are hard for me to get to. Can never find enough time when I am home. I am out of an event right now so I took a moment and signed up. Like Mike, I am wondering what kind of speaking you do?
Hi. I just joined earlier today...trying to get familiar with this site. Happened upon your page and read that you are a Speaker. If you don't mind my asking, what exactly do you speak about? FYI, my Pickens number is #194655 and I'm an airline pilot out of PHL but live on the other side of PA. I am interested in the new power generation for all the right reasons; dependence on foreign oil, bad economy, and to save the environment. I am also interested in saving myself (job). The Pledge-Fax Your Statement!!
Please read, sign, and fax to the number listed at the bottom of the Pledge page. It would be a great help to the Community if you could download the pledge, distribute, and persuade others to sign. The Community feels this is the best way to get the attention of state and federal lawmakers. Kim Anderson has other types of sign-up sheets. This is a great way to let lawmakers know of your interest in the reduction of foreign oil.
