Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?

Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize

Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

None really. I grew up in the coalfields of Eastern Kentucky. Many of my family members lived and died the lives of miners. I am very interested in something that utilizes the abundant resources we have and not being the "lackey" for another country.

What excites you about this campaign?

Someone--who has the ability to get noticed has taken an interest in our country and knowing that recruiting the American worker is the important thing in accomplishing anything. I think that many people don't understand the "oil business" and its nice for someone that does to say,"We've got to do something else.' I, as an American, despise thinking that my country is dependent on anybody. We fed the world. God has blessed us so many times over...its time we take back what is rightfully ours.

Welcome to the Pickens Plan.

We all share the same goal; to rid ourselves of foreign oil and clean up our environment for our children and grandchildren. Wind energy is a viable alternative. Some of us have a different ideas of what we can do for immediate relief.

Join some groups, get involved and invite some of your friends to join you.

Check out our group "Live Carbon Free" and see how we are promoting conservation and environmental stewardship as the bridge to future energy developments. Regardless of what we do, it will take some time to implement on a significant scale. For immediate results we can make a huge difference by conserving what we have.
