The Great Sunflower Ocean ReHabIn the near future the Citizens of Florida will have an opportunity to show their opposition to oil drilling as close as 3 to 10 miles off our coast. This movement will be made of people of all walks of life and will cross political affiliations. This movement is not about politics; it is about protection of our shoreline, our tourism, our valuable properties and our way of life. Let us share our knowledge, energies and passion for protecting our waterways and beaches from the devastating effects of oil drilling.

The "background" stable CO2 concentration is below 250ppm (pre-industrial age). The latest global average is at 390ppm, rising between 1 and 2 ppm per year.
Eight of the last ten years were the hottest on record, since global measurements have been accurate enough to measure.
Estimates of the tipping point value range from 400 to 450ppm, the point at which the increase is self-sustaining -- until the poles melt completely.
Man has never faced a polar meltdown in his existence as a mammal.
We have only survived two ice ages, barely.
Only those that could migrate to the tropics survived.
We are too numerous today. There's nowhere to go.
I for one do not want to wait and see!!!!!!!!!!!! We must take serious action NOW!!!!!!!
