Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I've not had much experience with alternative energy. I do know that back in the early 80's our local natural gas company, which I worked for at that time reading gas meters, ran all of the vehicles on natural gas. I found it scary to fill up our truck, thinking it could explode. LOL
What excites you about this campaign?
I've always been interested in alternative energy but thought that it would probably be too expensive. After checking out a few websites lately I found that with the tax rebates from the government and local utilites, that may not be the case. Although now with the currant rise in gas prices and the economy in the downward spiral it seems to be in, it may still be out of my reach.
What do you want to do to help?
I have no idea!! Spread the word maybe?? Also my family owns a roofing company, which with the right info, could promote, sell, and help the citizens in our community. I guess we could also put wind turbines in our hay field. LOL

Hi All,
Due to an unexpected medical emergancy, I'm afraid my participation with this group will be limited. My son was badly injured sunday in a motocross accident, fractured his tibia, and will require constant attention for at least the next 6 weeks. I will try to keep up with this important group as time will allow and hope to be back soon.
It's actualy an amazing price - I found out that the competition is doing them for $12,000. Please post any info you find out - it seems too good to be true.
There is a place here in utah that will do the conversion for around $5000 but they also have kits that are certified in the US that you can install on your own for about $3,500
see its not the CNG kits that are the expensive part (1,200 to 1,800);
for a 6.5 gallon CNG tank rated at 3,600 PSI it will cost upwards of $2,000
I hear Dixie college holds a coarse for this so you can the job quickly and efficiently - it might be worth taking a look at. We need to get Utah flooded with certified installers.
