Hello, Leslie! I guess you read all of Mr. Scott's information on the Energy Party. Thank you so much for joining up. I love that you and Amy are willing to work and speak out and be pro-active in helping change things for your generation down!
y'all are great!
Would love for you to join the Energy party, that's Dennis Scott, and he has a good idea for the election in 2010 for hoperully finding some candidates for representatives locally, think it's worth joining and working toward. Get Amy to join too. Energy Party for Texas needs to grow, and i think we can.
great pics of you and family

Mac Thornberry 202-225-3706

thanks you guys!
Obama gave a terrific speech Friday from a wind turbine parts manufacturing facility in Ohio. Now is the time to keep up the pressure. We ARE changing the way everyone in this country looks at the energy crisis, and how it directly effects our economy, environment and national security.
Hey! Leslie! I hope by now you have had time to look around the site, and most importantly, view the Energy Party information. I believe in this group as a part of the Pickens Plan, because regardless of the outcome in Washington, we have to DO something. I invite you to also join the Energy Party for Texas group, as we have just begun and are recruiting. The Congressional District 13 group is growing and needs members as well, as we have to be a loud and educated group to encourage our representatives to look at the PP and take seriously the need to change this mess we're in....bistro and ty will appreciate it.
Please encourage all to join in with the Pickens Plan Energy Army...it's the only way we will see things change. There's an amazing amount of information regarding all types of alternative energy sources, technology in the works, as well as regular folks willing to speak out and band together! thanks
I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
For those of you that have already jumped in and have made contact with your local leader- thanks.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.
On the home page, click on About The Plan ~ Boone Cam ~ Blog - You’ll see the Pie-graph Mechanics.
Our future is focus 1- at this point in time! If not now, When? If not you, WHO?
Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.

If you would rather wait on a leader role, that’s ok we need helpers. An organization cannot be all chiefs.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
Other fellow greeters will give you a more in depth list of things to do. Again, Welcome; Tom
Welcome. We appreciate you setting up an active account.
After you've had a chance to settle in, please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. The basic first steps are reviewing the current topics in the Forum, and inviting others to the website when you're comfortable. The people here want to do something to foster energy independence and those you invite will find that joining us is the right thing to do.
Here are further steps you might consider, some of which you may have already taken.
- Sign up to lead or volunteer on the Local District page.
- Visit your My Energy page and get involved.
- Get involved with others in your City or State.
- Find and connect with a like-minded Group.
- Start or join a Campus/Alumni group at PickensU.
- Work your contacts to increase press coverage.
- Write to congressional representatives directly.
- Use Pickens Action buttons or call (202) 225-3121.
- Speak out for ending our dependence on foreign oil.
- Write letters to the editor of your local paper.
- Download flyers/etc from here or here.
- Download the Petition and ask others to sign it.
- Start a company to build wind turbines/solar panels.
