Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I really don't have personal experience with alternative energy, but with fuel costs for our vehicles and home going up dramatically in the past 2 yrs, I decided I've got to start learning about and choosing alternatives.
What excites you about this campaign?
That it's a plan that looks toward clean energy alternatives to replace fossil fuel, and that technology for these cleaner energy alternatives is available today.

Yes, I would like to attend the next meeting. Please give me notice of when and where, and I will do my best to make it. I have already got several people to sign my petition. Thanks for all you are doing, and I want to do my part too!

ok so i just talked to my Env. Science teacher and she would LOVE to have someone come talk to the class. She's heard of the Picken's Plan before and since we will be discussing energy this semester she thinks that having a guest speaker would just be simply amazing!
As a matter of fact, I do know a couple of other senior girls that would probably be interested and I know for sure that many or most of the students in my AP Environmental Science class would defininitely be interested. I'll talk to my teacher tomorrow or shoot her an email and see who would want to take part. It might be something we can talk about in class next time!
Lori, I would love to attend a meeting here in San Antonio. That sounds like a great motivator to get even more involved. Thanks for letting me know! Of course it does depend on when, where, and what time. I'm a senior in high school so I do have responsibilities to homework and such. But if I am able, I will do my best to attend. Just let me know!
Lori,
Thanks for your enthusiasm. My wife and I would be willing to host a group at our home here. We've had up to 40 comfortably for an evening event. I don't know who is in charge for our District, but will try to find out. Steve
