We now have a new President who has energized the imagination of our country and the world by proclaiming…..YES WE CAN and we feel…..YES WE WILL. Along with joining please reach out to others that you know within our area as well and feel free to participate by posting in the discussion area any relative information about renewable energy, conservation, current trends, especially if they are about the efforts of our governmental leadership here in Morris County and New Jersey..

In addition to this discussion group, since we believe that in order to make a complete mind-set change we have to bring awareness to our young people; therefore, we have started a new discussion group called T. BOONE ROUD-UP. It suggests K-12 education for conservation be added to core curriculum and a painless way for the Fed to provide State's with an incentive to do so. PLEASE DOWLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this.

THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
...to wait and see...or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.

A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your city or state, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.

PLEASE FRIEND ME so we can keep in touch. I do updates on new member numbers and help with the pledge petition drive.

What excites you about this campaign?

It brings back a sense of hope to the people of America: hope to find our greatness again, hope that T. Boone will force a change in Congress and the President and hope that large corporations will participate (autos, municipalities, electric grid, corp. energy consumption, airlines, rails and so forth). The American people are already on board.

A quote from the movie Apollo 13 should inspire all Americans: "Failure is not an option!".
