I had a propane powered truck in the 1980's.

What excites you about this campaign?

The word "bridge" is the most important aspect of this plan in my opinion. We have become addicted to foreign oil over the past 30 years and it will take some time to free ourselves of that addiction. The Pickens Plan is a logical, well thought out bridge to newer energy technologies. It is free of the emotional "sky is falling" rhetoric that our current congressional leadership is using to gain a political edge but not much else. It doesn't matter how we got here or who is at fault... we all share in the blame. What matters now is what we do about it and how we fix the problem. I believe this plan can get the job done.
