Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
We use a wood pellet stove. I have looked into natural gas cars, but there is no local distribution. I am very interested in wind, especially individual units for a home. NE is known for wind!
What excites you about this campaign?
Leadship that is experienced in energy, politics, management and has resources. Less bureaucracy than government.
What do you want to do to help?
Support leadership.

Thank you for he add to the friend list. If you are on Facebook, please send a freind request to me there at WHiggins@pcei.biz. It is the hub of my worldwide communications, either for my personal life, Pickens Plan, naval academy alumni, or for the company that I lead. I categorize the people there by groups. I even will invite Montel Williams to the "Pickens Plan" from there, since he joined my Facebook friend list yesterday. He was a year ahead of me at the Naval Academy.
Welcome!
I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
For those of you that have already jumped in and have made contact with your local leader- thanks.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.
On the home page, click on About The Plan ~ Boone Cam ~ Blog - You’ll see the Pie-graph Mechanics.
Our future is focus 1- at this point in time! If not now, When? If not you, WHO?
Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.

If you would rather wait on a leader role, that’s ok we need helpers. An organization cannot be all chiefs.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
Other fellow greeters will give you a more in depth list of things to do. Again, Welcome; Tom
Welcome. We appreciate you setting up an active account.
After you've had a chance to settle in, please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. The basic first steps are reviewing the current topics in the Forum, and inviting others to the website when you're comfortable. The people here want to do something to foster energy independence and those you invite will find that joining us is the right thing to do.
Here are further steps you might consider, some of which you may have already taken.
- Sign up to lead or volunteer on the Local District page.
- Visit your My Energy page and get involved.
- Get involved with others in your City or State.
- Find and connect with a like-minded Group.
- Start or join a Campus/Alumni group at PickensU.
- Work your contacts to increase press coverage.
- Write to congressional representatives directly.
- Use Pickens Action buttons or call (202) 225-3121.
- Speak out for ending our dependence on foreign oil.
- Write letters to the editor of your local paper.
- Download flyers/etc from here or here.
- Download the Petition and ask others to sign it.
- Start a company to build wind turbines/solar panels.
- Start a financing firm to invest in those companies.
- Tell everyone you know about PickensPlan.com.
Decide for yourself what you can do, but definitely do something.
FYI: Got a message for T. Boone? Contact your Regional Leader
Welcome once again and thanks for signing up.

Thank you very much for joining the group. The other co-leader and I will be meeting tomorrow to organize a meeting for the whole group. Please invite frinds and co-workers to join. Gas prices are on the way up again.
