Wind Energy Director for American Shoreline, Inc., Corpus Christi, Texas and Director for Frontera Renovable, S. de R.L. de C.V. Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and have been developing utility scale wind energy projects in Texas and Northern Mexico since 2002 with over 4,000 MW generation capacity in the project development pipeline.

Initiated development for the Peñascal Wind Farm one of two wind farms on the Texas Gulf Coast. The 201.6 MW of Phase I for this project became operational first quarter of 2009, represents an investment of over $400 million dollars and generates enough electricity to supply the annual use of 70,000 homes.

For Amshore and Frontera, I am responsibe for all aspects of wind energy project development. These activities include land leasing (500,000 acres leased), wind resource measurement, permits, interconnection agreements, tax abatements, community outreach, power sales contracts and financing.

The leadership of Mr. Pickens with his knowledge of the energy business combined with his considerable public relations expertise and budget assures that this program will have an impact on policy decisions and public opinion.

What do you want to do to help?

All of my professional activities are directed towards achieving commercial operations for the 4,000 MW in the development pipeline as soon as possible.

By the end of 2010, our plans are to are to have another 400 MW operational.

I think people sometimes only see one aspect of the issue and fail to see the picture, like with wind energy and its environmental and economic benefits. If you're only concern about bird deaths, then you only see negativity.

In a way, I'm glad that I am no longer involved but the other side of me says it would be exciting to see a new project spring-up and work its' way to completion. Hope your projects get the financing needed to make them work.
