- Not much, I have tried some solar lights in my yard. They work, but the solar cells don't last long.
I have written articles on energy conservation and alternative sources in computer centers
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Energy is the single most important problem that we face and unfortunately has been ignored for years. Besides we need to make honest and smart people out of our politicians and this campaign could be a step in that direction.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I am a technical writer (was in my last job at InfoWorld.com) I can write articles on how people are using natural gas and wind , research what they did before how much did cost, how they switched, how are they doing now.
Not sure if Mr. Pickens has one already, but a blog would be a terrific platform to share those articles and collect people's comments.

Wind to provide power for futuristic buildings
I have lived for many years in California and still remember when driving from San Francisco to Sacramento the incredibly powerful sight of the power generating wind mills. It was breath taking and I hope to see soon many more across our country.

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.

Looks like the much talked about stimulus package passed. Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority. Now is the time we hammer our elected officials to allow companies and the private sector to run with new tech and needed infrastruture changes; allowing grants & insentives to help us achieve the energy independance goal!!!
