I have recently become COO of Clean Light, Inc., which manufactures and distributes a Snap-In Energy-Saver for magnetic ballast fluorescent lights. Currently, 4-6% of total U.S. electric power is needlessly wasted in magnetic ballasts. Our target customers initially are commercial, industrial, government, and schools with large numbers of T12 lamps.

Some years ago, then living in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina, I was Co-Executive Director of Ground Zero, a citizens action organization opposing development of a low-level nuclear waste dump proposed just outside Raleigh. I wrote an Op-Ed article that was published in newspapers across North Carolina, and I was a guest on radio and television shows focused on the nuclear waste dump issue. In the end the dump was rejected by the state, which correctly concluded that in Raleigh's sometimes rainy climate there could be no assurance that the dump would be safe and not become leaky.

A genuinely pragmatic approach that can be undertaken right now.

NJDL has offered two hours free use of its tele-conference call line to the first DL who steps up with a delegation of DL's from their State. Why don't you get the contact info for a group of nearby DL's in your State...12-15 of the closest ones geograhically and I'll set up the call for you at a time of your choosing. It's a great way to combine thoughts and energy. You can discuss strategies for the VM, recruiting, an eventual site meeting, etc.

Micah Lauer, our RL provided the home eMails for us. We had a great response. Let me know. The offer stands until March 31st.
