Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I am active in promoting waste to energy, solar, and geothermal technology. I'm also a big supporter of wind energy where economically viable.

What excites you about this campaign?

We need leadership for a change in our energy policy. It's takes bold action, courage, and organization. I am very impressed with this effort.

What do you want to do to help?

As a member of several boards and commissions that includes Environmental Quality, Water, Conservation, and Economic Development, I believe it's my responsibility to promote these efforts. In addition, The Newington Energy Task Force is promoting the use of alternative energy through a grant from The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund. I will use my political contacts, board memberships, and organization skills to push this effort forward. I am also a candidate for State Representative in the 27th District, Newington Connecticut.

I working with several people including Richard and AMSC ( that is company's trading symbol) of getting the power from the windy areas to your neck of woods. Our goal is put together a 500M fund that would invest in this technology and wind farms. If the fesability of transmission line as "point of delivery" can be made, then I hope have the line exempt from the grid by FERC since it would be a point to point connection.

My grandmother used to live in Newington before she passed away a few years ago - nice small town between 2 big cities
