- I use Geothermal heat for my house and buy hydroelectric power.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Getting us off foreign oil. Saving the environment.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Apply my organizational skills to the effort. As an educator I will teach the students in my classes. As a citizen I have written letters to the editor. As a reserve officer I am familiar with leading large organizations. I have worked as a Strategist in Iraq.

Scott A Hinson said… - Governor Rell is raiding the Clean Energy & Efficiency Funds to help pay down the budget deficit! On one hand she wants to support Green Collar jobs and with the other she is giving our industry Pink Slips. On top of this she signed on to support President Obama's initiative to support renewable & efficiency programs and then raids a Connecticut ratepayer fund! Pickens plan is a great initiative in embracing energy efficiency, moves such as Governor Rells is counter productive to this initiative.

I wish to thank you for the sacrifices you have made for our country. As a former Marine, I appreciate your service and commend your leadership.
Now is the time for change. There is more momentum than ever out there right now to get things moving in a new direction. The level of awareness is reaching the "critical mass" required to change our county's energy policy. I am extremely excited about the efforts of our new President to effect change and believe he can use his leadership and communication skills to coordinate this effort.
I can lend my support to this cause by notifying my Representatives and Senators of my belief in this program and urge them to vote accordingly.

When will we ever have a chance like this again to become energy independant before we give this country away?
Our new Congress is sworn in less than 10 days from now - they must be told loudly and clearly that we demand action to reduce our dependance on foreign oil!
WE CAN DO THIS. We need your help. THERE IS NO INFLUENCE WITHOUT NUMBERS!

Worked in the energy world and I know the devastation they promote. I deal in safety and security. so if you need any help - I have a passion for. I am currently unemployed so I can''t do much as hosting or where there is money to donate, etc. I have spread the Pickens plan across the US.

We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.
[Click here], to enter your zip code and be paired up with members in your area. If you want to be a leader for your area, you can also sign up on that page. If you would rather wait on a leader role, that’s ok we need helpers. An organization cannot be all chiefs.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

Download the Pledge/Petition : get them signed, fax them in to the 888# at the bottom of the pledge, asap.

PICKENS U We are recruiting "Campus Coordinators" for colleges and universities to represent the Pickens Plan on campus. We are looking for someone who can create a college page on the Pickens Plan site and also on Facebook encouraging folks to sign up for the Pickens Plan.
