Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
None. As a retired contracting officer for our government, I am extremely concerned about the decimation of our production base.

Additionally, I know of no aircraft or weapon system, or research into same, that has the ability to run on anything but gasoline or diesel. You can bet your last nickel that neither the public nor government officials is even thinking in that direction. This has a dramatic effect on the 30 to 40 years of oil remaining. Also, opening petroleum reserves just to lower prices at the pump.
What excites you about this campaign?
The current presidential race is nothing more than a 'p****** contest' between 2 business incompetents. You could elect both of them and still come up short. Pickens Plan is a breath of fresh air that someone is still capable of intelligent thought.

$700 billion for oil, trade deficits, foreign investments in our debt, and war costs will destroy this country and senators/congressmen alike continue to pursue their personal interests. Too many people with too little going on between their ears is killing this country. We are in desperate times and this is the only hopeful thing I have seen in several years.
What do you want to do to help?
I will do whatever I can. My experience is Government Contracts.

C and V are not going to win and IMO will not even come in second or third. I just finished re-reading B. Franklins AutoBio, T. Jefferson Bio and Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations - wow decades after the firsts reads, I have a entire new view of the works and the men. It is really bizarre that Smith sound like he is a current author in regards to labor value, capital value and medium of exchange values, he shows the relative weakness of the metals as a store of value vs commodities like corn?

Franklin was a Progressive in many ways - he started - public libraries, public services, property taxes based on VALUE not risk to the community [re-distribution or Progressive taxes]. Very interesting how my perspective of these works have changed over the years. I do not know if you use it but amazon.com and the kindle for iphone or PC has all the classics available to read and they are FREE - what fun.
