Dear Matt,

Welcome!! Thank you for joining District Group New Jersey-11 for Morris County (along with some surrounding areas). We are glad to have you!!!! By adding your name to this roll-call you have enhanced a unified voice in the halls of our government by calling for the imperative of our focus on Energy Efficiency, Conservation, and the Development of Alternative Clean Energy Options. We now have a new President who has energized the imagination of our country and the world by proclaiming…..YES WE CAN and we feel…..YES WE WILL. Please reach out to others that you know within our area to join the group and feel free to participate by posting in the discussion area any relative information about renewable energy, conservation, current trends, especially if they are about the efforts of our governmental leadership here in Morris County and New Jersey..

In addition to this discussion group, since we believe that in order to make a complete mind-set change we have to bring awareness to our young people; therefore, we have started a new discussion group called T. BOONE ROUD-UP. It suggests K-12 education for conservation be added to core curriculum and a painless way for the Fed to provide State's with an incentive to do so. Although idea is still taking shape, take a look and let us know what you think. Here is the link: http://push.pickensplan.com/group/tbooneroundup

Finally please “Friend” both Jack and me so we have everyone covered. Thanks for all your support on this campaign and please don’t hesitate to become involved…..and lastly, YES WE WILL.

P.S. Stay tuned for our next gathering….we are cooking up something good.

Sincerely your NJ-11 Leaders:

Jim Muhaw
Co-Leader

Jack Costantino
Co-Leader

Hello Matthew-

We are planning a meet and greet on Sunday, February 8th at 3pm at the Lake Valhalla Club House, Vista Road, Montville. There will be a coffee, light refreshments (a small contribution is asked to offset the cost) and a cash bar. We look forward to having the chance for everyone to meet and put a face to the names you may already know. It will be an important opportunity also to discuss your individual views and ideas about the progress of NJ-11’s Congressional District group and the objecitves of the Pickens Plan overall.

The Lake Valhalla Club is a great setting so please feel free to bring a friend..or a couple of friends, neighbor (even ones you don't like) or relative (Grandma and Grandpa that remember the Great Depression) or anyone who just may be curious about a group of Americans who want to see their country become energy independent and our World sustainable and cleaner. All are welcome!!! Please RSVP by or before Feb 1st., so we can plan ahead. Please make your best effort to attend. Drop a note or call with any questions.

Hi Matt

I'm in South Jersey raising a Timber Frame. Our District Member meeting was postponed because of delays here at the job. We plan to reschedule soon and will keep you in the loop. We're very interested in meeting you and the other members to discuss the plan and what affect we can have in our district.

In the meantime the best thing you can do is spread the word within your own realm of contacts. Everyone who shows up on my projects is signed in before they drive a nail...last night I signed on the server at Bennigan's. I signed the two postal workers while mailing a package at my local post office. All you need is their name and eMail or zipcode.

No one will bug them, and they don't have to join...we just need the numbers and especially before Inauguration day. I carry the petition form with me wherever I go. You can download and print it here: http://media.pickensplan.com/downloads/PP/pollingsignupsheet.pdf

Fax it in or sign on to MyEnergy at the Take Action site and you can send the names electronically.

I look forward to meeting you soon.

Regards,

Welcome Matthew and THANK YOU for joining Pickens Plan. Below are some suggestions on how you can help.

EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES BY USING OUR EASY RED "CONTACT CONGRESS" BUTTON - - With little effort, we have the ability here for you to send a letter to President Obama, our Representatives in Washington and your Governor, too.

Go to the MY ENERGY page. Register and make your voice count.
Go to THE PLEDGE Lend your voice to the call for American energy independence Fill in the short, standard form. Done!

Download the pledge/petition : get them signed, fax them in to the 888# at the bottom of the pledge, asap.
This is how we build our numbers fast! Be a leader, be a part of the "100 CLUB", by faxing in 100 signed pledge. Let Kim Anderson know when you are done and she will see that you are added to the list.

YOU CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who are trying to derail this historic effort.
Join us for a March on Washington.

If you answered "YES" to Interested in becoming an organizer, there are several things I can recommend. Join the following Groups:
Organizers & Leaders
Online Action Army
Guides & Materials for New Members

On the upper right corner of Your Page, click on "States" to visit the Push Pickens Community for your state.
Contact and "Friend" the New Energy Army Regional Leader for your state; you can find them to the right, in the Featured Members section. Let him/her know that I sent you there and you are interested in becoming an organizer.

PICKENS U We are recruiting "Campus Coordinators" for colleges and universities to represent the Pickens Plan on campus. We are looking for someone who can create a college page on the Pickens Plan site and also on Facebook encouraging folks to sign up for the Pickens Plan.
If you are connected to a college or university in your state, can be a campus coordinator, or can help find a campus coordinator, please let me know so we can get the process rolling.

IDEAS & PROPOSALS FOR PICKENS I know that many of you have great ideas and proposals that you would like to get in front of Boone's team...
They asked us to have you submit all ideas/proposals in writing to the Pickens Plan at: PO Box 12123 Dallas TX 75225.

If there is any way I can help, please, let me know. If I don't have the answer, I will do my very best to get you the answer.
Thanks again for joining this historical effort. WE CAN DO THIS.

Greetings Matt…..Thank you for joining! I have recently returned from a 3 week trip to Denmark and Germany and continue to be amazed by the efforts of these countries with the addition of Spain to initiate huge programs in alternative energy solutions for their countries. Germany and Denmark are at the 20+ % of electricity being generated by wind. Spain is above 40% of its electricity being produced by wind. There is much written on the Internet about these efforts and incentives to homeowners, farmers and business people as well. We have been kept in the dark for so long about what others are doing to solve their energy needs, cut their carbon footprint and reduce global warming. America is only 5% of the world’s population but we use 25% of the world’s oil. There is something fundamentally wrong with that equation! We need to change our mindset and the mindset of our legislators to choose the right path for the future of America and our dependency on foreign oil. Check out the photos from Germany, Denmark and Spain on my Pickens Plan Page. Your help is greatly appreciated and needed……Again, thanks…..>> Lee Ewald
P.S. Google Samso, Denmark and Freiburg, Germany (The Solar Village) to see 2 great examples of what is being done in Europe.
