- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I am an elementary school teacher who has lead my school to install both a solar array and a wind turbine on our campus. The solar array is already collecting data and uploading it online. The wind turbine will be uploading data online by September.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The opportunities for children to learn through authentic analysis, interpretation, and sharing of data are compelling, meaningful, and essential.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I'd like to halp our children share the story and the real time data of our investigation of wind and solar power side by side in the Midwest, a region not often thought of as quickly as Texas, Kansas, Nevada, or the coasts when it comes to alternative energy.
