Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?

Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize

What excites you about this campaign?

If the United States didn't have to spend $700 billion on foreign oil every year we would have all of that money to put back into our own country. Ideally, I would like to see that money spent on things like education and vertical urban farming.

What do you want to do to help?

I am unable to travel at the moment because of my job, but I would be willing to do anything I'm able to do right here in the Wichita Area.

It's nice to hear you mention Urban farming, I'm sure you already know that (vertical farming offers Year-round crop production; and 1 indoor acre is equivalent to 4-6 outdoor acres or more, depending upon the crop. with strawberries: 1 indoor acre = 30 outdoor acres) I have a concept I call the( Green circle ) in which, three things contribute to each other (Energy, food, and production waste products) contribute to the production of all three. self sustaining, the concept will help feed the extra 3 billion people born in the next 50 years we currently don't have the means to feed. It's my hope to create a mini version in which to demonstrate it's effectiveness. I guess you could call it one of my works in progress.

I am also interested in gathering Kansas city folks and uniting them to promote compressed Natural gas for NGV's cars and trucks and into a meetup group website as well. We cant wait for State or Federal government to act in our best interest. Local people and their interests MUST rise above the apathy in America today. We have a GM plant in kansas city, it's time we put them to the test for the betterment of Kansas and Missouri citizen's. please join me in uniting all of Kansas in this effort.

Hi Megan,

I've founded a group here at the Pickens Plan called "Musicians fo a Better Future". We're just starting out, and we'd like to arrange performance events in as many cities as possible around the world to promote clean, renewable domestic energy. We need people in Wichita and other parts of Kansas to get on board. You could help us get the word out.
Most of the people we'll need to make this happen aren't musicians either. We'll need organizers, promoters, media reps, event staff and so much more. Please have a look at our group and see if this might be something you'd like to do.
