- Site design project Engineer for GE wind turbine installation in Boon, NC in the 1970's.
GE Program Manager for Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) proposal for Hawaii
Project Engineer for a Wind Farms study in mid west funded by DOE in the 1970's.
Currently working pro bono with my local town ans USAF on a MTC funded feasibility study for a 600 -1500 kW wind turbine on the Air Force site in town.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The size of the Army and the dedication to renewable energy.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I had joined earlier (last year) but the "system" did not recognize my email address when I attempted to joint this district. I would be willing to the district leader since may passion has been "renewable energy" since the 1970's and I think it is time to get the job done. I also want to help get funding for our local wind turbine project in town. If the new administration gets the funding in motion I want to ensure that some of the funding is in our district.

I am one of the welcome wagon crew. We are all volunteers. Out of sheer numbers I greet daily I have a paste and copy note.
It is not intended to overwhelm you, just give you a direction and some contacts. I do read every profile page.
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
*************Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands, and please come back to these sites often as changes take place regularly. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.

There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
