- As a Trade and Investment Consultant for Ivory Coast, West Africa, I have worked with VICA Technologies to present Waste-to-Energy Project to the Government of Cote d'Ivoire, and have currently been approachhed by companies who are proposing WIND Energy for Ghana, Liberia, and Ivory Coast, .
- What excites you about this campaign?
- With the Pickens Plan, we in Africa and Emerging Markets will also wean ourselves from the high energy cost that developing countries are paying from the OIL Cartels. Diversifying our energy resources, with a mix of Bio-fuel, Wind Energy, Solar Energy, and using Liquified Hydrocarbon for automobiles will greatly help Africa to compete in the Global economy. With the increase and beakthrough technologies in the U.S. allowing for change in Energy consumption patterns, Africa will benefit from the early tehnological advances created by the PICKENS PLAN.
- What do you want to do to help?
- To participate in forums and discussions and be introduced to early green technology companies. I will be interested in facilitating events that include Africa in the PICKENS PLAN as part of the Global Fight Against Poverty through Energy Diversification in Africa. We can expand the PICKENS PLAN to include Africa through events involving Afrcan Embassies in Washington DC.
I am interested in hosting forum as well as bringing experts and industry leaders to have online or offline discussions that will include African countries through their Embassies in Washington DC.

I am so glad to see we are globally working together to ensure a quality of life 50 yrs from now!!!!!!!!
YOU CAN HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort.
PLEASE DOWLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
...to wait and see...or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE
Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your city or state, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
