- Not much. But I know it's the only way we're going to break the cycle of dependence against those with the oil. Energy is power and right now we don't have it.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Someone is finally doing something (actually doing something) about it. This initiative must succeed for us to break out and end this hold that other nations have on us.

I have not taken the time to look into it. I resent folks hijacking our members to advertise for personal gain. I have not looked into it. My husband and I were looking at mid aize turbines over the summer, and realized our NAtional Grid co. offers and option to have 100% of our electricity supplied by renewables. It costs 10-15 dllars more per month and is 100% tax deductable. Sure beats buying an expensive system! ... and we are 1005 renewable.

Please join your local congressional district- they could really use your help! They have lots of "options" for you to participate in.

Last year I helped so many members of Pickens Plan learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about conservation of power, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my electricity costs. BTW, Texas: I just posted an article link on my pickens page about Home Wind Systems in Texas. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "weak policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. Texas has created multiple sets of rules for loopholes and you have less rights than people in other states. You should read that article, important.

We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
