Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I'm a life long residential construction builder. During our first "crack" at being energy efficient, my home base designs in residential construction included designs in passive solar, renewable energy and super insulation building. This was during the era of the Energy Tax Credit and before th oil embargo. As a nation, we left that period and went back to turning up the oil fired thermostats .... THIS IS likely our last chance as Americans to bail our selves out of our interdependence on foreign oil supplies. We have to "Get err Done!"

What excites you about this campaign?

I've all ways been excited about renewable energy and the industry in general. I'm at a place in my life where I feel I am no longer making a contribution to my world nor am I using my many talents. I would love to be Mr. Pickens "LEFT" hand man and dive head first into the trenches to begin absorbing all I can on wind generation and the network of systems involved in setting up wind farms. Were never too old to learn and I'm not so old I can't pick up a wrench with the best of them and help "Get the Job Done".

What do you want to do to help?

With all leaders or movers there needs to be a good Right hand man and in this day and age ... it is all so imperative to have a loyal, capable "LEFT HAND" man. Since getting back to Maine, from Palmyra Atoll working for the Nature Conservancy ... I've been stalled in my work efforts. With the housing crises, residential construction is down and my work near non-existent. It's time for me to dig deep into learning a new trade and wind energy is one field I would love to know more about. TNC, picked one of the best from the selection it had to complete construction work on Palmyra. I'm hoping Mr Pickens will see the value in having yet an other talented, capable Sargent-Major working off in the trenches and as his loyal "LEFT HAND" man .... sincerely Michael E. Murray

Doing Our Part, Working towards Energy Independance!

Good day from Maine! I'm so thrilled that at the least, our congress kept the energy incentives credits in place! Our country is in a huge mess that falls all the way back to Joe Smow.

For once in our lives, "WE" the people have an opportunity to make a difference and be counted unlike any time I'm aware of, in our history!
