- Construction, building and have used solar contractors on various projects. Want to know more about other alternatives, wind, etc. I have mainly been on the hiring and financing end of things, as well as lobbying. I would be interested in continuing that pursuit. I do not profess to be an "expert" here but willing to work hard for a campaign I believe could change our world.

- The idea that there is a definite plan to rid our dependence on foreign oil.

- Anything I can, hire alternative energy contractors, finance, lobbying, speaking opportunities. Helping find real solutions and work with seasoned, ethical and hard working professionals to meet our goal of energy independence, whatever form it takes.

Let me start by thanking everyone who is part of the search for solutions to our collective independence from foreign oil and climate endangering use of gasoline and diesel vehicle fuel.
One of the largest obstacles locally to T. Boone’s plan is the lack of open to the public CNG fueling stations, and the fact that few if any are in the planning stages. To correct this and allow for Central Florida to become part of the solution to our collective problem, I am looking for assistance from legal and accounting professionals that would be part of a group to study the feasibility of establishing a not for profit corporation.
The not for profit corporation would be used to jump start the establishment of Central Florida CNG and Hydrogen fueling stations that would be open to the public. By establishing open to the public CNG and Hydrogen fueling stations the public would be encouraged to purchase or convert vehicles to CNG, and would allow companies like Honda to make available Hydrogen vehicles like the FCX Clarity. At present Honda is producing the FCX Clarity only in limited quantities and those vehicles will not be available anywhere in the southeastern U.S. because we have no open to the public Hydrogen fueling stations.
I am also looking for people with prior fund raising experience and volunteers that would be interested in pushing this agenda. Anyone who is interested in discussing this further is encouraged to contact me either by Pickens Plan email or forum post on the Local projects group forum “Starting a CNG fueling station”
Michael Rant. Continue to claim to be a promoter of renewable energy. How many kwhrs are you or your efforts responsible for generating? Little to none I would guess. Today I distributed another 13kw and tomorrow I will be meeting with one of Florida's more reluctant utilities to allow interconnection. You are right. This should be your responsibility if you are who you claim to be. I will not be the only one to gain from my efforts. You and the companies you claim to know will most certainly gain. I am not angry at all. In fact my wife and I laugh every time we see a post from you. Very entertaining. Why don't you exercise your efforts towards the utilities that are not investor owned so that the customers in these areas aren't forced to sign away their rights to their REC? Your claims about me are laughable and don't effect me at all. Your obvious lack of action in actually delivering on the renewable energy is what I find distasteful. I imagine you were at the renewable energy expo at the Orange County Convention Center. I was the only business there that was actually generating renewable energy. In fact I am the only business to date that has actually generated any renewable energy at any of the shows or other conventions. Self promotion maybe but definitely action. Still all I know of your efforts are words. Take action. You mention groundbreaking efforts. What are your groundbreaking efforts exactly? Grow up and do something to make a real difference.

I ask; I have tried several times to start education projects down here. Kids are great and just want to do. Adults let greed get in the way and have killed all of them. I can not tell you how much time and money I've invested to see adults wanting more without giving anything. Sorry, my rant.

We do not have a point of view from younger people. Such as your son. Perhaps with the help of his “green” teacher a new thread could be started giving us “old folk” a different perspective.
There are ways that all posts in a thread be “approved” before posting that might help.

I must respectfully disagree with you regarding my degree and credentials having no bearing in the industry. I use it to further grow the industry in my area by investing. You have no degree to speak of so I don't understand you're attacking mine. If anything your lack of degree has no bearing in the industry. I'm surprised you can practice without a degree.
At least you admit you have burned bridges. However, I fear they are many more than you know, as word does spread and continues to spread beyond those you believe you have offended. I have done some business with many and they may include whomever you are eluding to (you don't mention them by name so I have no way of knowing) and have NOT been burned. Quite the contrary. I need no luck, and have actually made a lot of money, so no "kissing my money good-bye" is necessary. Besides, my intent is to make the state greener, not get rich off of it. I need no help in that department.
My dear sir, my opinion of you is not the crux of the matter here as you believe. It is the industry's opinion. I am not obsessed, I am voicing the opinion of others in the industry who do not wish to burn bridges even if you already have and continue to do so.
I wish you luck, you're business practices leave a lot to be desired and many investors look to reputation among their peers when making decisions about hiring. Customer opinion of course matters, but what good is that if you can't retain the respect of those in this very important industry?
