Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
In my job I deal with large scale professional hiring and some of our clients are in the wind energy area and alternative bio fuels as well. I do not have much experience beyond this, but realize we need a new direction than the same old approach and hope with big oil.
What excites you about this campaign?
It is driven by someone outside of politics that has the ability and the financial backing to actually get America and the world heading in the correct direction. From this, as with all new and great ideas, it will spark many others.
I also appreciate someone from the oil industry with the intestinal fortitude to stand up and say "we need something different because big oil just will not do it any longer."
What do you want to do to help?
I would like to learn more, spread the word, help get the appropriate backing needed to ignite this and make the next President accept this as a viable path.

I was interested in seeing the Stimulus package approved, however, only 4% of the spending in the bill being considered would be on infrastructure. Only 5% would be on so-called "green jobs", another stated goal of the stimulus bill. The vast majority of the spending being proposed is unrelated to "economic stimulus". Such spending includes $650 million to help with the transition to digital TV, $50 million to the National Endowment of the Arts, $44 million to renovate the U.S. Department of Agriculture headquarters, $200 million to beautify the National Mall, and $400 million for unspecified "National Treasures". There are billions of dollars set aside to purchase a new fleet of automobiles for the federal government, and there is money allocated to buy new computers and furniture for federal agencies. I received this information from my congressman when I inquired about the bill.... I, certainly, cannot support that.......

Michael,
I was surprised when I saw who the District Rep was. I joined out of curiosity and I think something really needs to be done. Let me know if you need a hand with anything and I will help out when I can. Your former neighbor. - Paul Simko

Welcome!
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement. .
We need to Push.PickensPlan.com – or “Push” as we like to call it.
Our future really does depend on us at this point in time!

Again Welcome; Tom
I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

Well as they say, (the large lady voiced the end). Neither candidate openly gave his support outright for our plan. Both new about it and to a degree know the intense support behind it. As we all know, on the political platform the name of the game is, be careful how far you put your foot in the door.
