- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I have been reading and studying alternative energy for the latter three quarters of my life, including taking a course at the Univerity of Alabama with Dr. Ed Passerini (now retired), who was largely responsible for the design of the first solar car and who has to date the most efficient solar car design on record.
Other than that, I have little practical experience with alternative energy.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- I am first and foremost amazed that a man who reportedly made his billions in the oil industry in Texas is now working SO hard to create an abundant, inexpensive alternative energy program to replace oil and coal as a means of powering America. I am excited for the influential backing and that President Elect Obama has already given at least some enthusiastic remark about this plan. I really think it could work!
- What do you want to do to help?
- I am not a really good organizer but if there are local events I would really like to be involved, and I can get petitions signed, or make phone calls and do other things on an individual basis.

We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement.
Please, I ask the first sites you visit to get accurate info and articles to see pretty much what the plan is about and where the plan stands. Some are long, please; take the time to get all the details.

Mr. Obama has voiced that eliminating the dependence of foreign oil is a top priority.
[Click here], to enter your zip code and be paired up with members in your area. If you want to be a leader for your area, you can also sign up on that page. If you would rather wait on a leader role, that’s ok we need helpers. An organization cannot be all chiefs.
There is a group for almost everything. The Forums/discussions on this site are many and you’ll probably find something that interests or concerns you. Some are very long and were started months ago. For the ones that concern you, please keep in mind, events are remembered and relayed differently by those commenting, which as we all too well know equals at least three sides to the event.
After you have read the sites I mentioned, if you need anything else to help you, while you help the push, please stop by. I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.
