Hi Mike,

Can I encourage you to join up on the CT-04 group ?

I can't help but wonder if you've met/spoken to congressman-elect Jim Himes? We're going to be encouraging him to sign on to the Pickens Plan Pledge...

Thanks.

Hi Mike,

Just heard about the town study to examine local generation for the City... Who do I have to contact to get a look-see from the evaluating committee?

Even a few solar installations scattered around town could add hundreds of MWH of energy to the City energy budget.

Hi Neighbor,

Perhaps we can discuss CSP (Concentrating Solar Power) as an alternative? Deployable on any commercial rooftop if fits the DG (Distributed Generation) paradigm. That and I want to setup the factory right here in Norwalk.

I'm not an electrical engineer, so I don't know how doable this would be, but image an array of little windmills suspended under bridges. Each tiny unit would only generate a small amount of electricity, but as a group, I'm betting the amount could be significant.

You could do this under interstate overpasses to capture the draft from truck and buses, under (or even over) bridges that scan major bodies of water -- there's always a breeze there.

We'd never get approval for a wind farm like the one off of I-5 south of Oakland, but little units, just maybe ...

I agree Michael, we must look into personal wind generators as well and as T Boone says we must use all domestic energy sources available to us.

Please send more members to our group so we can make a loud noise with the politicians.
