- I am a builder and up until last year have not seen very much it was a big thing for awhile in the 70's built several solar homes but cost was prohibitive for most. Now like anything we buy with more options coming into the market all shall someday be able to afford and use. I am currently trying to do a project 156 homes which would include wind turbines solar and more if things go well it could be a first for the area I live in. Remember research and development are the key to any part of life I am living proof of research projects a Kidney transplant recipient from 1968 now look how far that program has come in 40 short years!

Brilliant idea! Requiring new homes to install off-the-grid energy, i.e. solar panels, geothermal, or even wind-mill or magnetic pulse engine, EESTOR ultra capacitor for instant ramp up of energy and long-term storage of energy (before a distressed mortgage can be sold, would instantly create literally thousands of jobs) and would provide investors from both the automotive market and new home owners real motivation to purchase government distressed mortgages.
Maybe a CNG fueling station could be installed in the garage for powering a vehicle to provide the new home owner the incentive to purchase a CNG powered vehicle. American automakers might even want to link up with banks and give the new home owner the option to role in the mortgage the cost of a new CNG powered vehicle. Linking the sales of distressed mortgages with GM, Ford and Chrysler sales of automobiles would create even more jobs.
I hope one day, America will use all these other green technologies:

There is a perfect storm of events happening right now that create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to pain at the pump, a presidential election on the horizon, and a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependance on foreign oil, and provide a bridge to future solutions, who has the resources, contacts, knowledge, wealth and "will" to get it done.
Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN. As you know, it is simply like signing a petition. With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure to bear on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and insure that our future president will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions. JFK once said. "in the next 10 years we will put a man on the moon". He got it done. We need that kind of leadership on energy.
Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.
