Not based out of dc; pickens has stepped up to lead, and I believe the economy can get around this plan.

Hey Michael:
I would be willing to speak to your Rotary Club. How long a presentation would it need to be? Could I set up a powerpoint presentation? -Look forward to working with you and this does sound like a great opportunity to get some new recruits and spread the word!

Hi Michael:
The stimulus package passed the Senate with componets that help wind and solar but it's my understanding that it doesnt include enough for natural gas. Boone says we'll be pushing a lot more for it in an energy bill.

Hi Michael

Please stop by and visit our TWO newest 100CLUB members. We are lucky to have such hard working and determined folks on the team!

1. Jack Costantino has brought over 122 new members onboard, and can be seen online frequently encouraging others to bring new members to Pickens Plan. He is also co-leader of his congressional district.

2. Gerry Kempen also has over 120 new supporters. I visited him today, at his very nice Liquor store, "Good Spirits" in Middletown, RI to thank him. Gerry's supporters put us over the top. RI-01 reached the 500 goal today - Inauguration Day. Yippee!

Hi, I want to be a member in the OK-5 District. I am for a NREL to be built in Oklahoma City at the old ATT building site on North Reno between Rockwell and Council. We need to be proactive to get the State to understand just what danger we face this year! It won't go away and the East will eventually decide to play the card if we do not circomvent their goal, which is to have surplus energy to use in the time they try to cut all oil exports...
We are fine for another few months, but once the warm weather comes in, the bets are on that the oil will be getting cut off. That is why the traders are calling prospective buyers with huge offers for oil from sand and shale recovery. I have had several calls that guarantee a set base price... That means that the busienss community, at least, KNOWS that oil is going back up. It is time we tell everyone that has a way to get gas stored, that now is the time to buy and now is the time to prepare when we have no resources to supply our oil and liquid gas needs. Natural gas prices will go up this summer and then next fall they won't go back down! This is a certainty if the supply can meet the demand in the summer months...Gregor Smith gregors@att.net 405-650-5101. Have contacted Mary Falin several times about the need for research money in Oklahoma. So far, she has been receptive, but more receptive to Oil and Gas companies, who supported her campaigns.
I urge you to press for a National Renewable Energy Lab to help grow green jobs in Oklahoma and through out our region. Gregor S.

Hi Michael how do I join the OK-05 ? I am already a member of the Pickens Army.
I look forward to adding posts and pushing our main agenda, one of energy independence. I am in the oilfield and was terrified when oil went so high, I knew something had to give and man did it !!

Thanks,

Andy

Hello Michael
My name is David Loewen, I built Passive Solar Homes in the Ft Smith, Ar area from 1984-1986. Of the 4 custom homes I built 3 of the original owners still live in them. Talking to the owners a few months ago they all said there homes are still working great. Two of the couples are in there 80's and still remain healthy. I believe this is because their bodies soak in sun almost everyday. I grew up in Norman and recently moved back to OKC. I would like to help get the word out about alternative energy. I have been studying about solar energy since 1981. I have been a member of the Pickens Plan since Oct. My email address is premiertile0607@hotmail.com.
Thank you.

Hello Michael,
I'm one of the leads of TX-26 out of North Dallas. Your group(OK-05) and mine(TX-26) are both leading for the more successful congressional district groups for recruiting. Would you like to talk sometime and exchange ideas?
Also, TX-26 is having a meeting in Lewisville, TX on Jan 6th at 7pm. We would be interested in you or Lorrie coming and making a short talk to tell about your group and its successes, if you’re interested. I know it’s short notice, so there is no obligation.
Thanks,
Jimmy Horn
TX-26 Co-Lead
