Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:: I have owned only CNG vehicles for the past year and am committed to promoting the adoption of CNG as a transportation fuel by more people.

What excites you about this campaign?: I've always followed T. Boone Pickens' activities. I'm an avid environmentalist always looking for ways to green my life. I'm also very interested in ending the stranglehold the middle east oil has on America.

What do you want to do to help?: I'm willing to do whatever help is needed most. However, my passion lies in educating consumers about CNG as a superior transportation fuel. I'm also very motivated to help eliminate barriers (perceived or real) to widespread acceptance of CNG vehicles and refueling infrastructure. I own a Honda Civic GX natural gas vehicle and would be willing to wrap the car in a PickensPlan.com wrap. Finally, I'm looking for someone to help me add solar energy at my home and set up net metering with AEP/PSO.

BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.

I noticed that you are a CNG vehicle advocate and that some people have asked you about CNG conversions. In the Tulsa area I know that Tom Sewell at Tulsa Gas Technologies is able to convert some vehicles and that Jim Norton Ford is now offering some conversions too. Contact person at Jim Norton Ford is Bill Winters.
I am in the OKC area and work for Carter Chevrolet in Okarche. Carter Chevrolet and our partner truck equipment shop OEM Systems is starting to convert vehicles as well. If I can be of assistance with any information, please let me know.
