Hi Mike. Have you had any sunshine lately. Where I'm at is bad. Greenhouse gases are thick, dark and ominous black clouds. Piercing cold. So unhealthy. It's difficult to work outdoors. I'm not a scientist yet to look at the sky seems obvious something is wrong particularly here in the Temperate Zone. No matter what season it is the sky doesn't fit the picture. It is out of place, damaged, not right. Nobody lives this way.

Thank you for the welcome and the thoughful, informed information attached. THis is the sort of thing I was hoping to find from an association with the Pickens plan. I was somewhat disappointed when I scanned the forums page and saw a lot of applications for small scale one-off energy saving and energy producing applications. The solution needs to be one that is mass producable and implmentable on a national and ultimately global scale. I saw a quick bit about this technology on Glenn Beck the other night.
Are you aware of any published information regarding the efficiency of producing hydrogen in this manner? Watts in versus watts out sort of thing? I am anxious to review. The efficiencies are going to determine whether this is a viable technology.
30 Years ago, in an engineering class the professor pointed out that the amount of energy required to produce a solid aliminum blade for a wind turbine would exceed the amount ot energy the turbine would be able to produce in its usable lifetime.
The fact that a turbine can now be mass produced and cost-effectively replace other sources of electricity is encouraging, but storage and distribution are the problems that still need to be resolved.
When I first saw the ads on television for the Pickens plan, I immediately saw the value of an organized campaign to simultaneous work to clear the obstacles of regulation, cultural inertia and cost effective implementation.
