Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

My grandfather was an independent oil producer in western NY state. My dad worked at an oil services firm. I have been worried about peak oil for the last 6 years, and campaigning for the American government and media to wakeup.

What excites you about this campaign?

For once, a high profile personality is talking straight about energy. The only problem I have with Pickens is his staunch backing of Republicans, who have held a death-grip on our oil addiction. I can't understand Pickens thinking in that respect, but I love his "energy thinking" these days.

What do you want to do to help?

I want to send my energy policy to this organization:

This is a long-term, comprehensive energy plan written by someone who has nothing at all to gain from it except that it will make his country, currency, and investments stronger. It will protect and strengthen America instead of Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iran, etc. etc.

Toyota Natural Gas Powered Hybrid Camry

here is a car america so desparately needs:

yet despite the obvious benefits:
1) reduce foreign oil imports
2) reduce emissions
3) powered by US produced natural gas

toyota will not be manufacturing this car nor making it available in the US?

why? probably because of the lack of nat gas refueling stations and the expense of the single-sourced home refueling appliance (the "Phill" by Fuelmaker).
